Manowar, who are on tour for their ‘Kings Of Metal MMXIV’ Tour” have announced that all remaining dates have been cancelled. It turns out that the tour has actually been cancelled due to Joey Demaio’s chores not being completed at home before leaving for the tour.
Demaio, who lives in the basement of his parents home (also known as The Kingdom of Aluminum Recycling and Laundry), failed to complete his chores before leaving for the tour. Joey’s mom, Mrs. Demaio, spoke with Over the Top Metal News and had this to say:
“Joey is a good boy but sometimes he thinks he can get away with things. I specifically asked him to make sure all the laundry was done before he left to go to play music with his little friends and what do I find? Dirty laundry under his bed. That’s not all I found either. I found naughty magazines also. There was one called 50+ and I don’t even want to know what Leg Show is about. I was also appalled to find dirty dishes hidden behind his dresser. Joey is grown up enough to know that you can’t leave your cereal bowl like that. Stuff grows in it. I told Joey that he needed to come home at once and clean up after himself or he’ll have to find someplace else to live.”
Demaio cancelled all remaining dates in panic. Over the Top Metal News reached out to Demaio and he had this to say:
“Manorwar fans of the great United States. It is like a broadsword to the heart that I have to announce that the remaining US tour dates will have to be cancelled but fear not, Manowar will return to lead you all in the battle against all that which is not metal. As soon as I can get this (Demaio yells: “MOM! I’M ON THE PHONE. GET OFF THE PHONE!).. sorry about that. As soon as I get my chores done, Manowar will return to the road like the metal vikings we are.
When asked if there was one last thing he’d like to say to the Manowar fans out there, Demaio had this to say: “Do your chores my loyal metal fighters. Do your chores.”
No rescheduled dates have been released but as soon as they are we will be sure to post them here. Stay tuned!
