It seems that after being in the band since it’s inception back in 2006, the mustached guy that played bass has now left the band and the band is currently seeking a mustache to replace him. Graveyard’s lead mustache took time out to speak with Over The Top Metal News to let fill us in with all the hairy details:
“We are very sad to have lost our long time mustache but we all know that some things just need to happen in order to continue to achieve greatness. We have been holding auditions for his replacement. Regardless of the news you have been hearing, we do not yet have a replacement.”
When we asked if they could disclose any candidates, Graveyard’s rhythm mustache had this to say:
“Well, we don’t want to give too much away but we have been in talks with Lemmy’s mustache but we think it might be close to retiring. We really wanted Geezer Butler’s mustache. We couldn’t think of a more legendary mustache to have but we’ll probably end up going with a local one just to keep it in the family.”
When asked if they would consider maybe a goatee or a soul patch, Graveyard’s lead mustache scoffed and said, “We’re a rock band. Not a hipster shit band.”
Over the Top Metal News will keep you posted on further developments.
