Coming off the heels of their very successful Book of Souls World Tour, Over the Top Metal News received news that because of health concerns, Bruce Dickinson is ready to put the Irons down and take it easy for a while. When discussing a replacement for Bruce, legendary Iron Maiden bassist and founder Steve Harris figured that he would love to have Blaze Bayley or Paul Di’Anno back in the fold but the problem was, he couldn’t make up his mind.
“I really didn’t know what to do. I love both blokes to death and with Bruce needing to take some time off to rest up before release our next 4 live albums, we just thought it would be fun to take out one our former vocalists for a tour. We just couldn’t decide who to pick so after a few pints, ol’ Janick and I decided that it would be nice to see these two blokes to at it with an old fashioned match of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Paul Di’Anno had this to say:
“Blaze Lamely knows he’s got it comin’ to him. I used to cut down blokes in the back alley back in the day and I always throw Rock.”
Blaze Bayley, in response to Di’Anno said:
“Yoo. Eh Yoo. Yeah.. Yoo. Di’Anno. I hope the place is wheel chair compatible for your fat ass. I’ll gladly take you down and let me tell you one thing bloke, this is one time that Rock doesn’t always win you wanker!”
